Verna the Dog needs a home
If you're looking for an energetic, playful dog, Verna may be your girl. She loves toys and is so fun to play with. Her favorite games are fetch and tug, and she loves playing with a dog toy called a flirt pole, which is like a big fishing pole. Verna is great on walks and loves to take her time sniffing and exploring the great outdoors. Born in 2015, sweet Verna does have some mild separation anxiety and will whine a little when she's in her crate with nothing to keep her busy. She came to the Sanctuary from a local animal control department. In Dogtown, she has done well with all the dogs she's met, and she currently lives happily with a dog about half her size. This smart girl already knows lots of training cues, from " sit to " touch and is learning even more. She'd love to find an active home with a person or family who will keep her busy.
